A new Review and more ways to read it

The July 2025 edition of Review is available for now for anyone paying into the defined benefit sections of the RPS.

The 8-page newsletter includes:

  • Why it’s so important to keep your pension details up to date and how you can do it in a few simple steps.
  • A message from your Trustee Chair, reflecting on the 200th anniversary of the modern railway and how you can get involved
  • A round-up of the latest pension news
  • A closer look at 3 points in your pension journey – paying in; taking your benefits; and what happens to your pension when you die
  • A guide to saving more for your future  

It’s up to you how you want to read it…

As a direct response to member feedback, this issue of Review has been given a more modern look, and is available to read in more ways than ever before.  

You can access Review online in two ways:

Alternatively, you can choose to get a printed copy of Review by post.

If you’ve already opted in to postal copies, you should see Review coming through your letterbox soon. If not, and you would like to get Review by post in future, simply complete the form on the communication preferences page or call on 0800 012 1117.

Getting Review by post does not stop you from having an online account and

you can check and update your communication preferences at any time by logging into your myRPS account and selecting ‘Communication preferences’ from the menu.
