Get to know your rail pension better and start planning for the future with our upcoming webinars.

We’ll be running member-focused webinars in June. They’ll be led by an RPS expert, and they’ll  help you get to know your pension better.

A webinar is a live, virtual, educational session hosted by a person or a number of people during which participating viewers can submit questions and comments.

What we’ll cover

‘Get to know your pension’ webinar

Whether you’re new to the Scheme or you’ve been a member for quite some time, it pays to get to know your pension better so you can plan ahead with confidence.

Our ‘Get to know your RPS pension’ webinars can help you understand the fundamentals of the Railways Pension Scheme (RPS), and the range of valuable benefits to saving for the future with the RPS.

The webinars will also cover:

  • Who contributes to your pension and how

  • Topping up your pension and tax limits

  • The options for taking your pension

They will take place on Tuesday, 3 June and Wednesday, 4 June via Microsoft Teams.

We’ll be running separate ‘Get to know your RPS pension’ webinars for:

  • Members of TOC Sections on 3 June

  • Members of Non-TOC Sections on 3 June

  • Members of the Network Rail Section on 3 June

  • Members of the IWDC Section on 4 June

How to register

To get booked onto either of the webinars:

  • Go to the Pension webinars page

  • Select the registration link for the webinar for the Section you are a member of. It will take you to the registration form.

  • Complete the registration form with your details.

  • Once done, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the webinar joining link.

There’ll be an opportunity to ask questions via the chat functionality, and to upvote the questions you’d like to hear on. Our pension expert will answer the top 5 most voted for questions at the end of the webinar. We won’t be able to answer questions specific to your personal circumstances.

We look forward to you joining us.
