Some updates in your myRPS account

Based on member feedback and continually trying to improve your online experience, we've been working on some new and improved features in your myRPS account.

Currently, if you're part of more than one Section in the RPS, you can log in to your online account and switch between the different periods of service using a button at the top. 

With these new updates, we've made it much easier to navigate between them, find the details for each one and manage them individually.

Switching from one Section to another (if you have more than one period of membership)

As an RPS member, you may have more than one period of service in the Scheme - for example, you also have an AVC Extra account on top of the current Section you're already in.

Now, when you log in to your online account, we've made it much easier to navigate, making sure that you can manage your benefits for each period of membership seamlessly.

On your dashboard, you'll see something like this - with the details for that particular period of service:

You'll also have the option to 'switch your scheme' - we've put them all in one place so you can navigate between them quickly and easily:

When you want to manage another Section in your online account, simply click 'Switch scheme' on the one you want to view. Once you've clicked on your chosen Section, you can manage your account as you normally would, including:

  • updating your details
  • updating your Nominations
  • viewing your membership details
  • requesting an estimate
  • viewing your Member Guide, guide to taking your benefits, and Summary Funding Statement

When you're logged in to your online account, you can view messages about your pension by clicking the bell icon in the top right-hand corner. 

We've been working on making this easier to use and to navigate, combining both messages and tasks into one tab. 

Now, when you go to your inbox, it will look like this:

And when you click on a message, it will look like the above. Messages and tasks are now combined in one tab so you can view messages from the Scheme about your pension and membership as well as complete any task highlighted so you can manage everything in one place. 

Cases have remained as a separate tab, which looks like this:

Lastly, there is a new tab called 'Contact Us', which you can use to fill out a Contact Us form and send a message directly from your online account.

We recently introduced the new Contact Us form, which looks like this:

Sending us a message via the Contact Us form

If you have a query, you can now fill in a Contact Us form and send us a message online by simply logging in to your online account. 

There is a lot of information on this website about your pension, however if you can't find the answer you're looking for or you need us to send you some information, you can now get in touch by filling out a contact form.

By logging in to your account and sending us a message, the information we need from you is all in one place.

To send us a message, you can either go to your inbox and click the 'Contact Us' tab, or you can click the 'Contact us' button under the 'Need help? Send us a message' section on the dashboard.
