Fund prices and performance

By tracking changes in the fund prices and performance you can manage your investments to suit your needs.

Regularly review the funds you invest in

Using the graph below, you can track any changes in the fund prices. You can also track prices over the past months and years in the documents below.

You should review the funds you invest in regularly and think carefully about your plans for retirement and which funds are the most suitable for you. You can change your fund choices at any time when you log in to your myRPS account.

Fund prices and performance
Which prices are shown in the graphs and how do they differ to the prices used to value my account?

The prices shown in the charts below are based on the daily ‘traded’ (‘swing’) price. The value of your account (shown when you log in to myRPS) is based on the unit price. The account value shown is based on the most recent unit price and will not be the actual value on that day.

If you choose to change your investments, this will be done on the daily 'traded' price. This price is based on the unit price but with 'trading spreads' applied. The trading spreads are adjustments applied to the unit prices to cover costs incurred by the funds when trading in underlying investments. There may be circumstances in which daily trading needs to be suspended in order to protect your benefits.

What can I do if prices fall?

As with any investment, any short-term market unpredictability can affect how funds perform. We understand that a reduction in your fund value could impact your retirement plans.

However, you do have different options available to you. For example, you may choose to delay your retirement or reconsider your retirement plans. We cannot provide any advice on what the best approach is for you.

Please check the Guidance and advice page for more information.

If you're near or at retirement, particularly if the value of your holdings has fallen, we recommend that you seek financial advice.
