It’s important for the Railways Pension Scheme to be in touch with its members, so they can be kept informed about their pension benefits.
Sometimes, the Scheme administrator RPMI needs to contact members to confirm their identity and ensure it holds the right personal details for them. This is to help protect members’ personal information and prevent fraud.
RPMI works with a company called Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions to do this and, in the New Year, some members will be contacted about a new way of confirming their details.
Lexis Nexis will be contacting a small group of members asking them to quickly and easily verify their identity via a new app. If you are contacted, please spare a few minutes to download the app and confirm your details.
If you’re unable to use apps, please don’t worry. We will still continue to offer our existing security questionnaire as an alternative way for you to confirm your identity. However, this does take longer to process than responses received via the app.
